We
all had the opportunity to play with puzzles that have loads of
pieces and it is fun to put them all in place, and get the big
picture. It is not only a fun activity, but an exercise of the brain
as well. But, in this article, I will not talk about puzzles; I will
talk about a form of art that is familiar to using small pieces of
material to make something marvelous and that is mosaic art. It has
been present in human civilization throughout history, and there are
some mosaic looking constructions that have survived centuries, some
have even managed to remain almost intact for more than a millennium.
