Artist Zadok Ben David built the following remarkable installation called "Blackfield" making use of 12, 000 minimize metallic botanical specimens patterned from book illustrations, each one inserted in a thin film of sand. On first look they seem to be entirely black, but once watched from the other side, a field of dark becomes a field packed with color.
