Orlando is a great destination for college break or even just a long weekend during the rest of the year. While most students will avoid the more traditional hot spots such as Walt Disney World, there is still an extremely diverse list of options available to tourists who are taking a quick break from college.

1. Live Music - The Hard Rock Live is a great place to catch well-known musicians and comedians in a more intimate setting. Previous entertainers at the Hard Rock Live's Coliseum of Rock 'n Roll include Beck, Nelly, Velvet Revolver and 311. Some of the top performers go on without any advance notice, so it is always a good idea to stop by the Hard Rock Live and see who will be performing each evening. The House of Blues is another similarly styled music venue, so if the Hard Rock Live does not suit your tastes, then a trip to the House of Blues may be in order.
